Testimonios

“It was a quiet paradise, complete contrast from the hustle and bustle of San Salvador.   Beaches were occupied by no one but us.  The family we stayed with welcomed us openly into their family for the 3 days.  It was great to experience island life and drink coconut milk fresh from the tress and go for walks in areas completely unspoilt by other tourists”.

“I found Joaquin’s trip to the island very fun and very interesting. I was able to explore the culture of El Salvador in a way that would have been impossible as an ordinary tourist. It was amazing to be part of this way of life. The friendliness of all the people we encountered with Joaquin as our guide was truly memorable. I highly recommend a weekend trip to this island and highly recommend Joaquin as a guide for El Salvador”.

“I had heard rumours, about an ancient carved rock on the island of Conchaguita and was desperate to go looking for it. The tour was every bit as exciting as I had hoped – our guide took us up through the village to the top of a hill which had the ruins of a Spanish church. The views across to Meanguera and down to Conchaguita’s Playa Brava were amazing. We carried on walking through jungle-covered slopes and eventually arrived at the rock. What struck me most was that it really is a hidden treasure of El Salvador: not more than a handful of lucky tourists can have seen it”.
